Anonymous marking does not have to be an administrative burden. Using NEMO-SCAN enables you to streamline exam logistics and radically reduce the costs of your anonymous marking policy. The only anonymity-management system that is both secure and cost-effective, NEMO-SCAN is also easy to use:
Material preparation for anonymous marking has never been simpler, since all that is necessary is to obtain NEMO-SCAN software and the anonymity sheets before the exam session. This innovative soution uses non-personalised anonymity sheets, meaning that they can be distributed to candidates randomly at the beginning of an exam (no prior distribution of ID numbers or barcodes necessary).

The patented anonymity sheets used by NEMO-SCAN constitute a major innovation for garanteeing perfect anonymity, by means of the automatic and separate capture of information from the two detachable sections of the sheet.
Making exam papers anonymous simply requires tearing along the dotted line when exams are turned in. By doing this, the A Sections, with candidate ID information, are separated from the anonymity sheets. After the session, the corrector marks the grade of each exam paper on the B Section. The A and B Sections are linked by encrypted codes that only NEMO-SCAN can decipher.
The lifting of anonymity is carried out automatically. Thus, once exams have been graded, all you need to do is put each batch of A and B Sections into a compatible scanner. NEMO-SCAN does the rest, assigning candidates their marks during scanning. Finalisation of the lifting of anonymity, which locks the results, is done with a simple click of the mouse by the authorised staff member (after verification of access rights).
The results are made available to the personnel in charge of the exam for printing and posting, while also being exportable directly to the Student Records applications or databases used by your institution.
