The RHMS (Réseau Hospitalier de Médecine Sociale), a Belgian hospital network, has recently implemented Data Scan. This software solution is now accelerating the processing of patient-satisfaction surveys, enabling the network to access the results more quickly. Thanks to the times savings, the network is able to devote more time to analysis of the survey results, in order to be more to be more responsive to patient requests and suggestions.
The military academy of Saint-Cyr Coëtquidan, in France, conducts multiple-choice assessments to test and validate the learning objectives of its students in English and a range of foreign languages. Using the software QCM Direct, the academy enables its teaching staff to conduct regular formative assessments without having fastidious manual grading tasks to manage. Thanks to the newly implemented solution, the academy plans to increase the frequency of MCQ assessments, in order to provide its students with more opportunities to test their knowledge and identify their strengths and weaknesses.
The ENSAIT (L'Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Industries Textiles), a French professional institute that provides technical instruction focused on the textile industry, regularly conducts diagnostic assessments of its students. These diagnostic tests enable them to constitute homogenous groups of students, according to their level, in order to provide instruction that is tailored to each group. The tests are MCQ-based, since that format is the most suited to this task, whether for language or technical testing. In order to optimize this process, the ENSAIT now uses the software QCM Direct.
Ludovic KOEHL, Professor and researcher at the ENSAIT, speaks about his experience using QCM Direct: "The user-friendliness and the speed with which the software processes response sheets are appreciable. It took only 30 minutes to grade a test on fundamental textile knowledge. This test, taken by 143 candidates and involving 6 teachers, is based on a questionnaire comprised of 34 questions; it used to require 16-18 hours of work to correct!"
The CCM has been preparing medical students for qualifying exams for over 40 years. After recently overhauling the organization of preparation for competitive exams (for L1 medical), CCM will be handling preparation in the fields of medicine, pharmacology, dentistry, midwifery and physical therapy.
This project will entail the need to handle large-scale assessments. In choosing QCM Direct to meet that need, the CCM seeks to ensure the reliability of the test-scoring, while also making it possible to offer more test-taking training in order to optimize its students' chances for success in their qualifying exams.
Collection and processing of patients' opinions, as expressed in satisfaction surveys, is central to optimizing a hospital's services.
The Belgian regional Citadelle Hospital chose DATA-SCAN Evolution to accelerate this process throughout all of its services, by automating the capture of all data from their questionnaires.
Thanks to automated data capture with DATA-SCAN, the Citadelle Hospital looks forward to optimizing both the organization's efficiency and its capacity to take into account the opinions of patients.
